Leadership becomes transformational as one chooses to strengthen adaptive capacity: It is the capacity to lead amidst shifting values, habits, and behaviors in order to discover SOLUTIONS to the challenges that are thrust upon us by the complex, rapidly-changing world we live in.
Often times, we hang onto old paradigms, and we continue to create events and architect experiences based on assumptions of what people need who are within our sphere of influence.
It is imperative that we Lead with Empathy to understand those needs as a beginning step. Then, we can start to brainstorm, ideate, and dream to move our ideas forward to meet those needs.
