Implementing innovation design thinking practices, mindsets, and utilizing the ChangeMaker Innovation Actovators™ can feel vulnerable at times. It is also very common to feel stuck.
Allowing ourselves to Persist through Discomfort increases the likelihood that we will move from the Zone of Predictability to the Zone of Possibility where the most creative and impactful ideas emerge.
When you reach a “Persist through Discomfort” moment consider the following:
- Pay attention to your emotions and what might be motivating you or demotivating you.
- Celebrate short term wins and acknowledge them internally and externally.
- If you feel stuck, consider walking down multiple paths at once.
- Find a friend or colleague to Collaborate & Connect with.
