Leading with Empathy moves beyond listening skills to fully understanding perspectives and engaging whether you agree or disagree. Showing compassion for human trials coupled with care to help solve problems and create opportunities is authentic leadership in action, which enhances the journey of discovering the needs of those within your sphere of influence.

Filling out an Empathy Map may be a significant next step when you want to Ask & Listen and figure out how to frame the right problem.
Identify:
Gather, understand, and learn new information. Identify resources for your project/process. Who and what can help you?
Recognize the current means you have and who can help you press on toward social change and widespread impact.
